The Inline Gait Harness System® is a functional training system which allows individuals to perform standing or walking activities in a safe and effective environment. The Inline Gait Harness System® is uniquely different from the Original Gait Harness System®. The new Inline Gait Harness System® has dedicated rear casters for patients who need the Gait Harness System® to move in a locked in, straight forward direction. This is intended for those individuals who have challenges moving side-to-side while they are trying to walk straight forward. Like the other Gait Harness Systems®, the Inline Gait Harness System® not only allows for ambulation in the frontal plane but for therapists and caregivers to assist over 85% of their patients in balance and other functional activities. Therapists can perform therapeutic interventions hands-free. They are therefore able to work on functional postures and other deficits rather than worrying about loss of balance and falls which could ultimately lead to injury of themselves and/or their patients.
